The incident happened some time after 2:30pm Monday, in the 1300 block of Lauzon Rd at McHugh Rd.
Witnesses at the scene say one vehicle struck another with enough force to overturn the second one.
Three people have been taken to hospital with injuries. As of Monday night there was no word on their conditions.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
