Two people face charges after a major cocaine seizure at the Ambassador Bridge.
Over 30 kg of suspected cocaine was seized at the bridge last week. On September 22, 2017, two Ontario residents returning in a truck were sent to secondary inspection. Upon inspection 25 bricks or 30.6 kg of suspected cocaine was seized.
The two men were arrested by Canadian Border Service Agency officers and transferred to RCMP custody. They are charged with importation of cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
