The Kitchener Rangers doubled the Windsor Spitfires 4-2 in OHL action on Thursday.
Luke Boka drew first blood for Windsor with goal 32 seconds into the game, but the Rangers scored twice to take a 2-1 lead before the second period.
Aaron Luchuk tied the game with a goal for the Spitfires 1:13 into the second, however, Kitchener was quick to retake the lead scoring with just over ten minutes left in the frame. The Rangers added one more unanswered goal 48 seconds into the third to cap off their win.
Windsor goaltender Michael DiPietro made 20 saves out of 24 shots on net.
The Spitfires are at the WFCU Centre again on October 5 when they take on the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at 7:05pm.
