The WE Care For Kids Foundation is launching a new campaign to encourage kids to take part in fundraising.
It's rolling out the the Hot Chocolate Brrr..gade to help kids host hot chocolate stands to raise money for the foundation.
"It's really fun because people get to have hot chocolate and we get to raise money for other kids in our community," says 8-year-old Katie Frenette.
The campaign will run all winter. Hot chocolate starter kits can be picked up at the WE Care For Kids office at Windsor Regional Hospital. Money raised will go toward equipment and services for pediatric services at Windsor Regional Hospital, the John McGivney Children’s Centre and Windsor Essex Therapeutic Riding Association.
