DWBIA Setting 2018 Priorities

After a week of speaking to downtown business owners and residents, the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association is ready to set its priorities for 2018.

"We're working within what we have and we're putting it mostly into safety, beautification, and cleaning," says DWBIA Chair Larry Horwitz.

Horwitz says lighting in alleys is a concern for many business owners and the BIA will look to accommodate that in its budget.

"One hour free parking, doing away with it in the parking garages by the city, has really affected the business community so we're going to look at that in the new budgeting," says Horwitz.

The budget will go to Windsor city council for approval during 2018 budget talks.
