Anybody with questions about upcoming construction on the Gordie Howe International Bridge has a chance to direct them to the people in charge of building it.
The Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority is holding its third annual meeting Friday at the Capitol Theatre in Windsor. The meeting starts at 2pm.
You can register to attend online or by calling 519-946-3038. The meeting will also be broadcast live at the authority's website and on Facebook.
The authority will be introducing its new chief operating officer and new board members.
The authority has been meeting weekly with the three consortiums bidding for the project but has not picked the winning bid yet. The final cost estimate will depend on the proposal, but in the past, it has been calculated at approximately $4.8-billion.
The bridge design has also not been chosen.
The authority hopes to open the new bridge to traffic in 2022.
