Charges After Alleged Threats With BB Gun

A 25-year-old Windsor man faces charges after allegedly threatening to shoot some people in his home.

Windsor police will only say the victims were known to the suspect and did not live at the house on Wellington Ave., between College Ave. and Erie St. W.

The Emergency Services Unit arrived at the house around 2:30am Saturday.

While investigating, officers found out there were seven people in the house when an argument broke out. Some were fleeing in a vehicle when the suspect pointed what looked like a handgun at them.

The rest of the visitors left unharmed with the help of police, and the suspect was arrested without incident.

It turned out the handgun was actually a BB-gun.
