Motor City Chrysler Employees Strike

Employees at Motor City Chrysler have walked off the job.

The members of Unifor Local 195 took their fight for a new agreement to the picket line Wednesday morning.

President John Toth says the company wants a number of concessions in the area of holidays, benefits, wages, and working conditions.

According to the Motor City Chrysler website, the sales showroom and parts department remain open and will be operated by the managers. However, the service department is closed during the strike.
