Police believe the fire started in a shed between the two homes on Lincoln Rd. near Niagara St. overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.
They say nobody was hurt, although fire officials say the one person rescued was attended to by paramedics.
The investigation is ongoing, and officials will be at the scene Thursday.
