Man Posing As Photographer Charged With Sexual Assault

A Windsor man is accused of posing as a photographer and sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl.

Police say their investigation started last Sunday night when they arrived a home in the city to talk to the teen.

She told investigators she recently met a man at a downtown restaurant who talked to her about his website and his work as a photographer.

The teen met the man a second time downtown Sunday evening.

After they left, the two walked into an alley on Goyeau Ave. just south of Wyandotte St. E and she was sexually assaulted. The man left on foot afterwards.

A 38-year-old man is charged with sexual assault.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call investigators with the Windsor police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS), or submit your tip online at www.catchcrooks.com.
