Fire crews tackled a house blaze in Walkerville on Easter night.
Windsor Fire and Rescue says it happened shortly before 9pm Sunday at a two-story home on Richmond St between Monmouth Rd and Walker Rd, about a block from Walkerville Collegiate Institute.
Firefighters arrived on scene and saw smoke and flames shooting out of the second floor of the building.
The fire was quickly brought under control and declared out about a half hour later.
Crews were seen entering the home through the front door and converging on a second floor balcony right above, checking for hot spots.
Those who were in the house when the fire broke out were able to get out safely, although two people were treated and released at the hospital after suffering smoke inhalation.
Damage is estimated at $5,000.
