(John Chippa photo for BlackburnNews.com)The Essex detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police took 26 unsafe commercial vehicles off local roads this week.
They, along with the Ministry of Transportation conducted a joint commercial motor vehicle safety blitz in Leamington and Tecumseh, on Monday and Tuesday.
A total of 47 commercial vehicles were inspected, and 26 were placed out of service, four licence plates were seized, and 67 charges were laid.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
