UPDATE: Child Walking Alone In Windsor

Windsor Police are updating the public after making an appeal Thursday to identify a young boy who was spotted walking alone in the area of Giles Blvd E and Hall Ave.

Police received the report around 11:15am, and police released an image taken from video surveillance in a bid to identify the child and find out if he was safe.

The image prompted many tips from the public, but police have not been able to identify the boy.

Officers also conducted an extensive search where homes, schools, daycares, and businesses were canvassed.

In an update, Friday police also assure the public they have not been notified of any missing children.
