Driver Caught Going More Than Twice Speed Limit

The Ontario Provincial Police say a driver with a lead foot will face some severe consequences for allegedly speeding on Hwy. 3.

Officers stopped a vehicle going 130 km/h in a 60 km/h zone in Windsor around 9:30pm Saturday.

A 26-year-old Leamington man now faces a charge of stunt driving, along with a count of operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

He will have to walk now. His license has been suspended and his vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
