Did Your Kid Get An A? Get Them A Slice Of Pizza

A Windsor pizza restaurant is offering a free slice of pizza to any student who gets an A on their report card.

"Last year we gave away over 900 free big slices at our three locations," says Antonino's Original Pizza owner, Joe Ciaravino.

On July 3 and 4, any student that brings in a current report card with at least one A, or the equivalent, on it will get their slice for free.

"My parents grew up poor farmers in Sicily. They didn't get to go to school much past the primary grades, so they pushed me to get a good education and strive for good grades," says Ciaravino. "This is our way of paying them back by rewarding academic achievement."

For high school, college and university students special Pay's for A's Day will be on July 30th.

The offer is valid at Antonino's Original Pizza in LaSalle, South Windsor and Tecumseh.
