The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society is putting a call out for volunteers for a fundraising campaign that starts next week.
During the summer months, the agency is busier than usual with more animals coming in, while donations typically dry up.
The "Strays on Streetcorners" campaign is supposed to raise cash during a crucial period for the humane society.
Volunteers are needed to collect donations from the public at major street corners.
There are a number of time slots available.
-Thursday, July 12 from 7:15am to 9:15am, and from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
- Friday, July 13 from 7:15am to 9:15am, and from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
- Saturday, July 14 from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
