Windsor Police Service SUV (Photo by Maureen Revait) Windsor police say they have seized around 23 lbs of marijuana after an apartment fire near the core.
Police say the fire happened at an apartment building on Ouellette Ave. near Elliott St. around 7:30am on Sunday.
A 52-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman, both from Windsor, are charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
There were no injuries reported.
No damage estimate is available yet. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
