Leamington Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash Identified

Amherstburg police have now released more details about a motorcycle rider killed in a crash.

Police say 48-year-old Alan Crawford from Leamington was pronounced dead in hospital shortly after the crash involving his motorcycle and a Toyota on County Rd. 8 and Concession 6 Rd. North Monday at around 2pm.

The driver of the Toyota, a female from Amherstburg, was not hurt.

It's unclear if any charges will be laid.

Emergency crews arrived to find the victim being tended to by other people at the collision scene.

Police would like to thank those who stopped to try and save the man's life.

The collision remains under investigation.
