Windsor police have laid several child pornography charges against a Windsor man.
The 45-year-old faces more than two dozen charges including eight counts of possession of child pornography and eight counts of distributing or transmitting child pornography.
Police say they received information in late March that a local resident may be involved in the possession and sharing of child pornography through the internet.
A suspect was arrested Monday afternoon.
Investigators do not believe that any local children were involved in this child pornography case.
Police say the investigation continues.
