A new initiative encouraging Windsor residents to take a stroll in the city's urban villages launches Saturday at 10:30am until 1:30pm in Ford City.
Stroll Windsor is a grassroots initiative that fosters the tradition of strolling and rediscovering Windsor's diverse neighbourhoods and local businesses.
The "Calendar of Strolls" includes dates this summer and fall when residents can get free samples and tastings, tours, art, historical conversations, and kids activities.
The City of Windsor, Ford City Residents in Action, Ford City BIA, Walkerville BIA, Via Italia BIA, Wyandotte Town Centre BIA, and Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island are all partners in the initiative.
