Windsor Man Electrocuted

Windsor police are warning the public about the dangers of trespassing at an electrical compound after a man was electrocuted.

Investigators say it appears the injured Windsor man was trying to steal wires and metal from an industrial building on Hawthorne Dr., west of Enterprise Way early Monday morning.

They say a fresh hole had been cut in a fence leading to a nearby electrical transformer.

Police say break and enter charges are anticipated.

The victim is in hospital with potentially life threatening injuries.

Police say people have died before by attempting similar acts.
