The Tecumseh Fire Rescue Service reported the four-vehicle crash at Walker Rd. and Hwy. 3. on Friday just after 4pm.
Fire officials say three people were taken to hospital by Essex Windsor EMS with unknown injuries.
No further details have been released at this time.
Police say Hwy. 3 was initially closed between Walker Rd. and Outer Dr. but the roadway has since been reopened.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
