An investigation into the arrest of a 19-year-old man in Windsor last month has been terminated because doctors said his injuries were not serious.
Ontario's Special Investigations Unit is called in whenever there is a death, serious injury, or sexual assault involving police.
Windsor Police were called to a home on Partington St. just before midnight on July 3 to respond to a domestic incident.
A man was arrested and taken back to police headquarters where he complained he had pain in his jaw.
Officers took him to the hospital, but the medical evidence suggested his injury was minor.
