Police say a vehicle going westbound on Hwy. 401 near the Belle River Rd. exit in Lakeshore was clocked on radar at a speed over 190 km/hr Saturday afternoon. The OPP say the vehicle blew by an officer's unmarked police cruiser but was pulled over near Manning Rd.
A 22-year-old from Toronto is charged with racing a motor vehicle. His driver's licence has been suspended and his vehicle impounded.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
