A man suffered non-life threatening injuries in the incident around 1:30am Sunday near the corner of Ouellette Ave. and University Ave.
About 24 hours later, there was a shooting in the same area. There is no indication the two incidents are related.
Police are still looking for a suspect in the stabbing.
