Windsor Pair In Hot Water After Hit & Run

Two Windsor men have been charged with possession of stolen property after a stolen vehicle was involved in a hit and run.

Police say there was a hit and run on Elm Ave. and Elliott St. in west Windsor on Sunday morning. A witness told officers they saw a vehicle matching the stolen vehicle's description nearby on Wellington Ave. and Elliott St. A suspect found inside the vehicle tried running away but was arrested after a foot chase. Another suspect was also found nearby and placed under arrest without incident.

Investigators say the vehicle was reported stolen earlier in the week. Police say a quantity of property believed to have been stolen was found in the vehicle.

The investigation continues and more charges are expected against the 34-year-old and 29-year-old men.
