Windsor Fire and Rescue said the blaze on the seventh floor caused $100,000 in damage Thursday morning. The unit was destroyed and there was water damage to the suites below.
A resident was treated and released with minor burns to his hands.

Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
