Windsor Police say they have made an arrest in a June homicide.
Sergeant Steve Betteridge says a male suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of 31-year-old Autumn Taggart, also known as Maya Madolyn.
Police say the man was arrested on Friday and charged with one count of first-degree murder. Betteridge says the suspect is facing numerous other charges.
The name of the suspect has not yet been released.
Taggart was found murdered in her University Ave. W. apartment on June 10. Investigators said at the time that her child was in the apartment when the attack took place.
Police had organized several canvasses of the neighbourhood in hopes of generating leads.
The crime remains under investigation by the WPS Major Crimes Branch.
