One of the local school boards is asking students, staff, and parents for input on how safe and welcoming their schools are.
The Greater Essex County District School Board is conducting a biennial school climate survey to gauge feelings from members of its school communities on safety, bullying, and well-being.
The GECDSB puts out the survey every two years, as all major school boards in Ontario are required to do.
Teachers, administrators, support staff, and students in Grades four through 12 are given time in class to complete the survey online. Parents, guardians, and community members will be able to access the survey through its link on the official GECDSB website.
The survey went live Friday morning and will be up until Friday, March 1.
