A Windsor man has been arrested after a trailer was stolen in east Windsor.
Police said the trailer was stolen from a location on Lauzon Road just south of McHugh Street sometime between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Officers found it Tuesday night while looking for a wanted man not connected to the theft.
Steven Labute was arrested at a home on Riberdy Road near Lappan Avenue when officers spotted the trailer in the backyard with fresh tire marks leading to it. The 32-year-old from Windsor is charged with theft, possession of stolen property, and not following court conditions.
None of the allegations have been proven in court.
