Two charged with attempted murder after stabbing downtown

Police in Windsor have charged two men with attempted murder after a stabbing on Pelissier Street early last Friday morning.

Officers found a man with a life-threatening stab wound around 2:20 a.m. at a business on Pelissier between Church Street and University Avenue West.

Once members of the Windsor Police Forensic Identification Branch processed the scene, detectives from the Major Crimes Unit were able to identify two suspects.

About 20 members of the Emergency Services Unit and the Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad arrested the first suspect Wednesday afternoon on Giles Boulevard East near Oak Street.

The second was arrested later that afternoon on Park Street West near Ouellette Avenue.

Police have not recovered the weapon, but they have charged 28-year-old Jordan Kinsman and 23-year-old Sevaughn Scott of Windsor with attempted murder and robbery.
