The Windsor Spitfires fell 4-2 to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at the WFCU Centre on Thursday.
The Greyhounds kicked off the game with a goal early in the first period, but Curtis Douglas and Will Cuylle both scored to give Windsor a 2-1 lead heading into the second. Sault Ste. Marie scored 12:04 into the second period to tie the game. The Greyhounds took the lead with a goal early in the third, and capped off their win with a goal in the final seconds of the game.
The Greyhounds also outshot Windsor 34-25. Spitfires goalie Colton Incze made 30 saves.
The Spitfires will look to rebound on Saturday when they take on the North Bay Battalion at 7:05 p.m.
