The Windsor Express lost a close 126-123 game to the Sudbury Five on Thursday.
The Express trailed by seven points at the end of the first quarter but were able to cut Sudbury's lead to 59-58 as the game entered halftime. Windsor gained the lead in the third and ended the frame with an 86-83 advantage. The Express held the lead until the final four minutes of the game when the Five inched ahead to win with a three-point advantage.
Chris Jones led the Express with 31 points and eight rebounds, while Juan Pattillo added 26 points and 13 rebounds. Ryan Anderson also put up 15 points and had 10 rebounds.
The Express are back at home on March 6 to take on the Halifax Hurricanes at 7 p.m.
