Three charged in east Windsor stabbing

Three men are facing charges after a man was found beaten and stabbed in east Windsor.

Windsor police were called about an injured man in the area of Tecumseh Road East and Central Avenue around 5:20 a.m. Monday. When officers arrived they found a man suffering from a stab wound, among other injuries. He was taken to hospital where he was treated for with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators determined the man had been attacked at an apartment building a short distance away at Westcott Road and Guy Street.

Roughly five hours later, police arrested three men in connection with the attack.

Brian Bardoel, 30, Robert Godfrey, 31, and Eric Guilbault, 25, are charged with one count each of aggravated assault. Godfrey and Guilbault are also charged with three counts each of breach of probation.
