Windsor police have arrested a suspect, but continue to search for a vehicle stolen in a carjacking at Windsor Regional Hospital's Ouellette Campus.
A woman told police she was helping an elderly man get into her vehicle around 2:45 p.m. Sunday when a man jumped in the driver's seat and drove off with her inside.
She said she suffered minor injuries when the suspect forced her out of the vehicle.
Police were able to identify the suspect during the course of their investigation and found him later that evening in the area of Walker Road and Melinda Street.
Corey Fostey, 30, of Belle River faces robbery and dangerous driving charges.
Police have not found the vehicle yet.
