Officers were called to the parking lot of an apartment building near California Avenue and Girardot Street around 6:30 p.m. Thursday after an adult man was injured.
So far, police do not have anyone in custody.
There is no official word how severe the victim's injuries are, but some media reports suggest he suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
