UPDATE: House fire in west Windsor out quickly

Damage is pegged at around $10,000 following a house fire in west Windsor.

Fire crews were called to Wellington Avenue and Wyandotte Street around 8 p.m. and found heavy fire coming from the rear of the two storey home. Windsor Fire and Rescue Services said the fire caused downed power lines, but crews were able to extinguish the blaze quickly and limit the damage to the exterior of the home.

Fire officials said the house was vacant and under renovation at the time. No one was injured.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
