Caesars Windsor sets up drop-off for old electronics

Just in time for Earth Day, Caesars Windsor is offering itself up as a public drop-off for unwanted electronics.

Anyone who has some electronics they want to get rid of can take them to the parking lot at 250 Windsor Ave. across from the Colosseum between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

The casino has set up large bins to accommodate any size electronics including amplifiers, cameras, cell phones, computers, and old televisions.

Parts gleaned from old electronics, including glass, steel, copper, aluminium, precious metals, and plastics will be used to make new products.

The drop-off is being held in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

Employees and their families have been volunteering their time this month to events across the city like clean-ups in the Little River watershed, on Devonwood Trail, and Glengarry Avenue.
