Housing prices continue to rise in Windsor-Essex with a 15.6 per cent increase last month over April 2018.
The Windsor Essex County Association of Realtors says the average sales price for a home in the region in April was $354,125, up from $306,288 a year ago.
Prices last month were also up 6.1 per cent from March when the average price was $333,566.
Sales were flat in April with 599 properties that changed hands, the same as April 2018.
However, the number of listings increased by more than 19.4 per cent. There are 1,003 properties across the region up for sale.
The most popular style of a home remains the bungalow, followed by two-storey, ranch, raised ranch, and 1 1/2-storey styles.
