Gunfire in Windsor leads to a manhunt and arrest

Windsor police have arrested a man but are still looking for another man after shots were fired outside a business in west Windsor.

The gunfire happened March 1, 2019 at approximately 2:10 a.m. on Wyandotte Street near Elm Avenue.

"The Major Crimes Branch has been actively investigating this case and subsequently one suspect has been arrested and the outstanding suspect has been identified," said police in a news release Friday afternoon.

Investigators are asking for any information to help find Aisa Husaini (pictured below), 27, from the York Region. Husaini is wanted for charges including possessing dangerous weapons and pointing a firearm.

Police believe Husaini may be in the Hamilton or Greater Toronto areas and it is also believed that he may have ties to the London area. He may be driving a black Volkswagen sedan. Husaini is considered to be armed and dangerous and is not to be approached. Anyone who sees him or knows where he is should contact their local police service.

Xavien Williams, 23, from Scarborough was arrested May 19, 2019 at approximately 2:30 a.m. near Wyandotte Street and Goyeau Street. Wiliams was charged with several offences, including possessing dangerous weapons, pointing a firearm, possessing a firearm while prohibited, and breaching his bail conditions.
