A strike has been adverted after tentative agreements were reached between Unifor bargaining units and the University of Windsor.
Unifor Locals 2458 and 195 represent the over 400 full-time and part-time administrative staff, operational engineers and special constables that would be impacted by a strike. On Saturday morning, Unifor Local 2458 announced on their Facebook page that an agreement was reached, saying they were "pleased."
Details of the tentative agreements and the ratification meetings are expected to be released in the coming days.
