OPP seeking witnesses to serious collision

The Ontario Provincial Police Service is hoping to speak with a witness of a serious collision at the intersection of Hwy.3 and Walker Road Wednesday night.

Investigators believe the driver of a vehicle travelling westbound on Hwy. 3 behind the involved black SUV may be able to provide evidence.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. and closed the intersection for around four hours while police investigated.

Three people were sent to the hospital. Two of them had serious injuries.

The OPP would like the driver or any other witness to contact them immediately to assist with the investigation. They can call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or the Essex County Detachment at 519-723-2491.
