City prepares for Bright Lights 2019

The City of Windsor is already getting ready for this year's Bright Lights event in Jackson Park.

Fencing is going up in the north end of the park near Tecumseh Road. The service road north of the sunken garden will also shut down, but all the other paths and areas of Jackson Park are open for now.

The city is preparing the park in stages this year, so residents can still enjoy it.

Last year, 100,000 people came out to Bright Lights Windsor 2018.

The city said it would have more to announce soon about this year's event.
