The barn is on a property in on Malden Road just south of Manning Road and North Talbot Road.
No one was hurt.
There is no word what started the fire or how much damage it caused.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to the sexual assault of a child.
Police responded to 11 incidents between July 26 and August 19.
