Express weather the Storm 127-99

The Windsor Express defeated the Island Storm 127-99 at the WFCU Centre on Friday.

While the Storm were able to gain a two-point lead by the end of the first quarter, Windsor fought back in the second to take a 63-55 advantage as the game entered halftime. The Express remain ahead with a 12-point lead at the end of the third and continued to surge ahead in the fourth frame to win by 28 points.

Chris Jones led Windsor with 35 points and seven rebounds, while Derrick Nix added 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sam Muldrow and Ryan Anderson both put up 14 points.

The Express are on the road on Thursday to take on the KW Titans. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
