One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer in Lakeshore.
The Ontario Provincial Police said a pick-up truck and a tractor trailer collided head-on at the intersection of County Road 31 at County Road 42, shortly before 3:40 p.m. on Monday.
The driver of the pick-up, who was the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver's name has not been released.
The driver of the tractor trailer was taken to hospital as a precaution but was not injured.
County Road 42 was closed between Lakeshore Road 125 and County Road 31 to allow police to conduct an investigation. It is open now.
Police said further information will be provided when it becomes available.
