Tecumseh moves ahead with water main replacement on Hwy. 3

Drivers on Highway 3 in Tecumseh will have to deal with some traffic restrictions this spring when the water main is replaced at Walker Road.

Town council approved a $1.3 million project at its most recent meeting.

SheaRock Construction Rock won the contract.

The water main will be replaced on Highway 3 between Oldcastle Road west to Walker Road, and then on Walker from McCord Lane to just south of Highway 3.

It will take about 10 weeks.

The town will have more details about the impact on traffic closer to the date the project begins.
