(© Can Stock Photo / photovs) Power has been restored to customers in Leamington after a brief power outage Tuesday morning.
Essex Powerlines reported an unplanned power outage affecting 4,165 customers around 9:15 a.m. The corporation said a blown line fuse caused a feeder to lockout. Crews replaced the fuse to restore power just before 10 a.m.

Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
