The Windsor Express defeated the St. John's Edge 112-93 at the WFCU Centre on Friday.
The Express took a 26 point lead by the end of the first quarter but the Edge bridged the gap in the second to only trail Windsor 56-47 as the game entered halftime. The Express continued to hold their lead over St. James by ending the third frame with an 83-64 advantage, and the Edge weren't able to catch up in the fourth with Windsor ending the game with a 19-point lead.
Chris Jones led Windsor with a game-high 22 points and 10 assists, while Quinnel Brown added another 17 points with one assist and one rebound. Sam Muldrow and Kemy Osse each put up 16 points.
The Express are at home again on Wednesday to take on the Halifax Hurricanes at 7 p.m.
