Three people, including a minor, are facing charges after a drugs and guns investigation by Windsor police.
On April 9, police searched at a home on Walker Road near Parkdale Place. Police met one of the suspects at the front door while two people attempted to take off through the back door. One was arrested immediately and the other was arrested after a short chase. The minor was found with a loaded firearm.
Police also seized illicit drugs and Canadian currency at the scene.
A 49-year-old man from Windsor and a 19-year-old man from Hamilton are facing charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. The minor is also facing drug and firearm-related charges.
None of the suspects are being named to protect the identity of the minor who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
